For the past 17 years, I’ve been working with people from all kinds of industries to creating success systems, align their mindsets and energies towards creating easy success on their terms. I’ve been teaching entrepreneurs how to have a lot more fun and ease and creating businesses that contribute to their most impactful life.
And here’s what I know for sure:

Sure, you can always hire supervisors, contractors and managers to do it for you. And most likely, at some point, you’ll need to do just that.

So, how did I get this gig as a business success coach?
(envision my shoulder shrug here).
Perhaps my 17+ years as an intuitive coach has something to do with it….
Or my 12+ years as a trainer of self-growth workshops….
Or my insane collection of careers, all of which involved creating businesses, strategies and products that inspired people to take bold action on their own behalf to create an amazing life.
The truth is I never set out to become a business success coach, trainer or speaker. It just came into play as I interacted with more and more people who were struggling to achieve their dreams and become highly successful without giving up the idea of having a personal life too.
And I LOVE it.
I could say more about my long and weird path from Architecture and Design to Therapist to Clinic Owner, to being a Business Success Coach. Or, I could give you a long list of credentials, certifications and experience.
But whoopee ding dong. Who cares about any of that? Instead, here are a few things that may or may not be of interest to you.
14 Relevant and Not-So-Relevant Things About Me
1) I was born in a small Albertan town as a drive by birthing. My mom went into labor on the highway, they just took a right turn and boom! Here I am.
2) I’m the oldest of four girls, and am the only one with a male nickname – Norbert. And if you are family and you call me by this name – I respond. If you are not family – I don’t respond.
3) I learned how to be a business success coach by testing it on myself, family and friends. A lot. And by studying law of attraction, mindset release, business, digital marketing…. and a whole host of other modalities and business training’s that is longer than my arm.
4) I love storytelling. Since I was little, my family would always make up crazy scenarios, situations and share them and build upon each other’s until we were in stitches….aka the flying fart squirrel….aka the Tripp chronicles. This still rings true.
5) I think I am hilarious and laugh hysterically at my own jokes.
6) I swear like a trucker and would have to sell everything I own if there was a swear jar in my house.
7) I used to make couture cakes for fun.
8) I sang competitively and when I was young, in a United Church while my family went to a Catholic church because they were the only church in town that had a choir. I also sang in an acapella group and we performed at my wedding.
9) Other things I love: My husband and kids. Coffee. Hiking – anywhere. Kayaking. Reading books that teach me stuff. Sleeping. Halloween. Ghost hunting with Lisa, Tasha and Joe. GOOD HOMEMADE FOOD. My husband’s cooking. Cock n Bull ginger beer. Playing cards with friends when I am winning. Talking about creating stuff with inspiring people.
10) I will try anything once, and if it’s done poorly it is the most hysterical thing to me in the moment.
11) Sometimes I laugh so hard I cry….uncontrollably….it tends to freak people out….which makes me laugh more.
12) I believe I have the world record for hitting stuff with my vehicle driving under 30 km/hr. I become a better driver when I am going 100+ km/hr….true story.
13) I talked my kids into naming our dog “Lucky” because I thought it would be hilarious to pick up “Lucky Poop”….it’s not.
14) I believe when people have mastered their gifts and talents and share them with the world, it is the sexiest thing they can do.
It’s beautiful and magical.
