One Trick To Improve Mental Clarity in 5 Minutes
Mental clarity makes a world of difference in how productive our day is. Have you ever been in your office and your mind just goes blank?
Similar to that thought “what did I come in here for?“.
This occurs when our mental faculties have been overloaded either during an extremely hectic day where LOTS of choices or big choices have been made, or we have been burning the midnight oil for too many days in a row.
In other words, our brain is tired and needs a break.
So what do we do to get our mental clarity back?
We spend 5 minutes tapping out the different areas of our brain (referred to as Cortices in BodyTalk).
Thinks of it as waking up all the areas again so that you can get back to work, or if you are at the end of your day, to relax instead of the mental spinning that gets you no where.
I like to use this technique when I have big creation days, or with my students when I am teaching workshops and they are starting to zone out.
