Making the decision to offer holistic sessions is a very broad niche – but it gives you your first step to gaining clarity but it’s not the one that will position you as the expert, create massive transformation for your clients or elevate you to the wealth level you desire.
Money may not be your driving factor, however I would encourage you to think of all the ways you can use it to impact your life, your family’s life and your community.
Nothing brings me more joy than being able to step up and create magic because I have chosen to have an impactful and profitable holistic business.
Now choosing an ailment is the next step to relieving niche anxiety and it can be that simple. You have to let it be that simple so that it becomes easy.
Our brains can over complicate what can be a very easy and simple decision.
Sooo how do we eliminate your niche anxiety so it can be a easy, simple decision?
Let me share with you some key niche mindsets and some simple anxiety busting – how to’s. It’s a way to think about this so you can get your brain aligned with what your heart knows to be true in making this decision for you.
It isn’t a game changer, rather it’s a total life changer for you if you’re a go getter personality type of person like me and you want to have a signature offering that leverages your time, creates transformation while increasing your wealth.
But most of all you want to step into this exciting next chapter of your life.
Because when you have a specialized signature program offering, you can create all that cash freedom that you want, all that time freedom that you deserve and really fulfilling your purpose at a deep soul level.
Let’s Eliminate Your Niche Anxiety
First – I think there’s so much noise online about choosing a niche…some people say that your niche doesn’t matter.
For me, that does not help me feel less anxious at all, that makes me more anxious because as a holistic professional with multiple modalities – there’s too much to offer and choose from.
Second – Other people are saying you have to get this right or else you will fail.
Neither of those is actually true.
So yes, your niche is ultimately a make or break decision. Absolutely.
But there are phases to it.
You start in one spot and then you work your way into tightening it all up.
When you understand this, it gives you the freedom to experiment. The freedom to still make money as you are launching your signature program or relaunching it.
And yes, absolutely you will niche in tighter over time, which will add even more momentum and income to your business.
So holistic sessions are your niche, right? Awesome!
You want a niche that gives you unlimited potential to grow and to scale the number of people that you desire to serve.
For example you can keep your holistic business very boutique sized, which is great and you can still make those high multi six figures.
Or you can go more into building an empire. It’s up to you.
And it’s really about what works for you and know that you can change your mind. So don’t let that create any form of niche anxiety for you.
For this reason, 17 years ago, I started out wanting boutique business. Then I wanted to build an empire so I opened a clinic. After 10 wonderful years of doing that it brought me clarity that a boutique business is absolutely where I love life, business and really everything in my world.
So as you learn and grow, you can change and adapt. But the point is you get to make it work for you…you have the choice.
And this is about impact for your clients, you and your family…really anyone you come in contact with because you are thriving.
The only ceiling and niche anxiety is the one you give yourself.
When there’s no ceiling or anxiety about your choice – how much money you can make, how much you can grow your income, it’s all you baby. You get to easily make money and create the life you desire.
Moreover you really want to really bust through any income ceiling you’ve ever had, and really experience achieving all of the income goals that you dream of.
And if you’re new to me, then you may not know this. I’ve been at least a six figure therapist, and a seven figure holistic business owner every year since 2004. That’s a long time and a lot of money as a therapist…without total burnout.
That’s money that I never dreamed was possible. Initially, when I started my business in 2003, I never knew that this was possible. But it is possible. As a result, if I can do it, so can you!
Choosing a narrowed down holistic niche makes it very easy for you.
You want a niche that is easy to reach, that is easy to serve, so that you’re not working really, really hard with your marketing.
Marketing is effort and energy that there’s no doubt about that and it’s so much easier when you don’t have that niche anxiety chewing at you.
But it shouldn’t be hard, and this includes having a niche that values a high ticket signature program.
By high ticket I mean people who either have the financial resources or who want to see results and are willing to pay for it.
They know what results that they want to achieve. And they know they need to hire an expert to help them achieve those results.
So they really value the transformation that’s sitting right there for them. They want it so badly and they can’t quite reach it – that’s where you come in.
Your specially targeted signature program helps them do that.
These types of clients have such a high degree of commitment to change and this is about ease for them. They don’t care about the cost.
Another way to relieve niche anxiety is being aware that you want a niche that allows you to fully express all of your gifts and modalities.
All of your modalities and training, your ability to connect with people, your ability to create transformation, and your gift of being able to support your clients on their journey of growth and achievement. We want to express that to the fullest.
And of course all of this includes, you’re living your best life as well. This is a parallel path.
All of this is really about fulfillment. It’s about fulfilling your purpose at the deepest soul level or fulfilling your purpose at the highest level either one, it’s all the same.
So let’s be honest, holistic signature programs checks all of those boxes, right?
Let’s Talk Niche Anxiety Busters!!
Niche Anxiety Buster #1
Be brave enough to step into that holistic niche and build a program around it.
When I first started my holistic clinic, I didn’t have a niche at all. I was going to help people with whatever they had going on through single sessions that were holistic based.
That’s what I was all about. I’m still about holistic forms of healing. But now I assist female holistic professionals get clear, get profitable, get living through my trainings and programs.
So that first year I always called the year of tears and terror. It was absolutely miserable and horrible. Didn’t need to be that way. But because I strayed away from what I knew and created in my personal therapy practice I created unnecessary struggle.
I mean, like, literally, I would go out and market modalities like my pants were on fire. I was putting in hours like sleep was something I was allergic to….and nothing.
The clinic struggled to get clients. We weren’t making any money. I would come home every day upset that my personal practice was full. A couple of others were full, but I couldn’t get the rest of the team booked.
I WAS RUNNING OUT OF MONEY….
In fact, I had to pivot or the business would die.
So I sat down and looked at everything…without emotion about what I was doing wrong…and instead looked at what I was doing right. What was working for me and the others that had highly profitable practices.
I was on the brink of financial disaster but I knew I could shift this. I knew how to create an individual successful practice and I just needed to assist them with that.
So I started. I made the switch.

- The Lasya Healing Centre Therapist Business Training Program (our internal signature program for people who worked for our clinic to learn how to do business profitably)
I knew I was onto the right thing. And so the clinic started making money and signing on new fertility clients.
And truly, making that switch to holistic signature programs was the best decision I have ever made. So you have to be brave enough to step into a niche even if that is new for you.
In fact, the whole world opened up for me from that one simple decision and from there, after 10 amazing years of helping people create their families, I started to mentor and coach holistic therapists to create their own holistic signature programs.
The takeaway here is the opportunities, wealth and impact can open up for you as well.
Niche Anxiety Buster #2
Find the common thread.
What you want to start looking for is the common thread that your ideal clients have.
But here’s what’s important…it’s not the common thread of being stuck or struggling and like aiming low, don’t do that. The common thread is aiming high. Aiming where your ideal clients want to be not where they are now. The big transformation that they want. Be bold about this.
This is aspirational marketing.
So for example, in our Signature Mastery Program training, our clients are creating an amazing signature program. They’re getting trained on how to research it, create it, and automate it. So that they’re fully confident and prepared to deliver their program, charging what they’re worth and other things like money mindset.
What that does is it gives them an opportunity to talk about an expert signature program and pricing to start marketing from. With those two pieces, and there’s six pieces all together, they create an outstanding signature program compiled of all their trainings, wisdom, knowledge and heart.
But maybe they have thoughts and feelings and concerns about how to do that. How to break into their next level of income so that they’re making more money for the time they spend in their holistic business. They want freedom, impact and wealth. So that’s a common thread.
Finding the common thread will keep you from getting anxious about your messaging, because no matter who you’re talking to, there’s this common thread that brings it all together.
Niche Anxiety Buster #3
Go somewhat broad at first and then niche down from there.
So for example – working with people with cancer would be broad. You can build an entire program around it.
Niching down – working with females with cancer. Still same program, maybe tweaking a couple of copy things.
Niching down again – working with females aged 20-35. Still same program, maybe a couple more copy tweaks.
When you go broad in the beginning when you are unsure, it will show you which specific group of people within that broad niche you desire to work with….however…the narrower the niche – the easier to market and convert…and ultimately transform.
Niche Anxiety Buster #4
Don’t prioritize what others will think about your choice.
Maybe you’re switching niches. Maybe you’re already working generally in your niche, and you’re ready to get more specialized and up level.
It doesn’t matter what others will think. That’s not your priority.
So what do you do?
Easy – make an announcement, be excited, and be happy.
You can say something as simple as “I’m heading in a new direction and I am so excited to take you with me”.
That’s it. It can be as simple as that.
Honestly everybody’s eyeballs are not focused on you. So don’t make this a problem when it’s not a problem.
They’re not paying that much attention so just go for it and make yourself happy.
For example: “I’m starting to assist women aged 20-35 with navigating chemotherapy as their healthiest self. I’m so excited and I’m excited to have you have you to take you along with me on this journey”. That’s it.
Let your enthusiasm and excitement carry you forward and the right people will follow you. They’re most likely going to be very excited for you. And they’re going to admire you for doing something new.
Niche Anxiety Buster #5
Make minimal changes to your website.
I have found that people as soon as they change the niche, they get their panties in a knot about their website. Don’t do that. Don’t spend weeks recreating a new site. It’s such a waste of time and slows you down.
If you need to – just make a few copy edits to your existing site and call it a day. Worry about doing a major change later.
Rather, make a new banner for Facebook and, your Facebook business page as part of your announcement.
Don’t spend all this time and energy on redoing everything up front. To be honest, its misdirected time and energy.
You can let the website catch up with you later. Really, it’s okay. You can get clients without having your website all snazzed up.
