      You have built your holistic program and you are ready to get it out there to your potential clients.

      You’re a little nervous. Maybe you haven’t sold a program, workshop or product before…or you have and it sold very little or possibly not at all.

      Well don’t worry. I’ve been there and done that. We put our heart and soul into something and are so excited to get it out there because we know the transformation it will create…and then nothing.

      So we step back into our single session grind and we feel a little less confident about our success potential.

      And that sucks!

      And it hurts our heart.

      So I’m going to share with you a few things not to do that a lot of gurus out there push over and over again so that we are running in circles.

      How about we save some time?

      Here Are The 5 Things You DON’T Have To Do To Promote Your Holistic Program!!

      1.Posting lots of organic content on your social media channels

      It used to be that you needed to be a content making machine, posting 3-5 times a day and people will fall in love with you and line up with cash in hand.

      Well that’s fine if you have a social media team whose only role was to post on social media for you.

      And I don’t know about you but just thinking about that makes me want to crawl into bed and pull the covers over my head.

      The reality is, you can create one piece of content that you can use repeatedly…but…it has to be the right content.

      2. Creating More Than One Free Offer (It just needs to be the right one)

      This is also known as your “Freebie” or “Lead Magnet” and they have usually 5 different things wrong with them so that they don’t do what they are supposed to do for you and your business (and that’s a whole other conversation).

      Typically what happens is that when they don’t work, most coaches think they should just create another freebie. And then another and another and another. This is a spin cycle.

      Trust me, the answer is NOT multiple free offers – it’s having the right free offer for your ideal client and is aligned and congruent with your holistic program so that you move them from freebie into your signature program.

      3. Creating An Additional Online Course That’s a “Low Priced” Offer

      I know I might sound like I am flip flopping because … I teach you how to build programs that can be digital, or in person/digital…but hear me out.

      Everyone wants a well-crafted online program that makes you money while sleeping. I get that.

      Except…it really doesn’t work that way when promoting a holistic program.

      If you can’t get qualified leads right now…you’re not going to get more leads with a cheaper offer. It takes just as much effort to promote a cheaper program as it is to promote a higher end offer…I would much rather make more money per person than becoming the dollar store version of program offerings.

      Quality clients are willing to pay for quality.

      4. Doing a “launch” every single week to generate clients and sell your holistic program.

      Can you say exhaustion with a capital ‘E’? Not only would I go to bed and pull the covers on, I would crawl in with all of my clothes and shoes on, plus lock the bedroom door.

      Yes launches are amazing. And yes, there’s so many formats you can do – events, challenges, webinars, etc, etc.

      However if you don’t already have a big email list, or are adding hundreds to this list every week, you will end up losing people from sheer email exhaustion. (Also if you had a big audience, you wouldn’t be reading this, right?)

      Putting together launches…well done, money making launches, is a crazy amount of work.

      I laugh when I read people promoting – Launch in 2 weeks…WTF?

      Rather having a simple system that you setup once and use to get clients repeatedly is a much better idea than coming up with a different marketing strategy every single week or month.

      5. Create a membership site and stock it with all your best content that you barely charge for hoping they will then sign up for your holistic program.

      Arrrrrgh! I see so many people pushing this and newbies jumping on this bandwagon.

      Again I would rather sell a $10k program than a $37/mth membership.

      It sounds good. Lots of people giving you their dollars every single month.

      Here’s the issue: They are actually profitable and worth the time and effort IF you have over 10,000 people on your email list.

      Memberships typically don’t create transformation…and as a holistic professional…we want transformation…because that feeds our soul AND creates raving fans who refer to you.

      Statistics show that when people invest in themselves, truly invest in themselves in a program with real support they have a higher change of getting those success and results to succeed.

      Want an easy membership fail example? Statistically, gyms make their biggest income during January because of those New Year’s resolutions….come March 67% of those memberships sold are no longer being used…by 5 months that percentage goes up to 80%.

      I’m pretty sure that means the transformation is just not happening my friends.

      Moreover…how many of those stop paying even though they have a contract, then you have to pay or use up your time to chase down those payments. And would that 67-80% be referring to you?

      NOPE!

      6. Offering a single session first so people know you’re good before you offer your holistic program.

      It’s impossible to get out of the session mode if you do this AND people can’t realize your genius or gain huge transformation in a single session. You know this as a therapist. People come for a session, feel good and then don’t come back again until the roof is on fire.

      Plus people have a money set point on how much they will pay for a half hour, hour, etc. That is commodity driven – not value driven.

      They don’t understand the process of healing…don’t get me started on this…that’s another blog to be written.

      So now that we know how NOT to waste our time promoting your holistic program …what the heck do we do?

      The first thing we need to acknowledge is that what you do is too important not to make all the money you want, help all the people that you can help, and make the difference in the world that you want to make.

      The second thing we need to acknowledge is that after COVID, the competition has gone up 15-20x vying for people’s attention online so we need to be efficient, effective and strategic.

      If you are here, you are done with discounting your services because you are exhausted of hearing “I can’t afford it”. These people are not your clients.

      Imagine For a Moment That Your System To Promote Your Holistic Program Is Actually Simple, Understandable and Easy To Implement?

      1.Create your money making brand.

      I am not talking about colors and logos here. I am talking about the transformational experience that you offer. …key words “Transformational Experience”.

      You are doing this wrong if you are selling processes. Nobody cares about the process. They care about the transformational experience. How will working with you and your program make them feel? That’s where the gold is at AND the impact.

      Think of it this way – if you are trying to sell a process or a modality – you’ve created yourself as a commodity and people will direct price compare you to anyone who could possibly be a competitor…and the cheapest price wins.

      This is not the way to promote your holistic program at all. 

      Rather decide what your Transformational Experience is and ensure that it is relayed through every single thing you put out there.

      Now if you’ve gone through my Signature Program Mastery program and used my research templates, you will already know exactly how your clients want to feel through your program.

      So be sure to infuse it into everything.

      2. Create a simple freebie that leads your potential client into your holistic program.

      This is the simplest and inexpensive way to grow an audience that actually works. 

      Now if you have one and it’s not generating leads, there’s a reason for it: 

      Bad messaging – if your messaging is not on point and speaking directly to your potential customer. They will not bite.

      If you messaging is too broad – They will not bite.

      One of the things one of my coaches told me years ago was – you can’t catch all fish with the same lure.

      So the more focused your messaging to your potential clients the better. In our Program, we face test your messaging right in the beginning before you even build out your holistic program. It’s a beautiful thing.

      3. Ask your potential clients where they hang out.

      This one is crucial. If you are spending a ton of time, money and energy on Instagram but you work with elderly clients…you are just shooting yourself in the foot.

      Your time and money is best spent doing in person talks. That’s where your clients are. In person.

      Or if your clients are over the age of 45 – it could be facebook…not tik tok.

      So ask them where they hang out and how they like to receive their information.

      Then master the sh*t out of that platform in the format THEY love.

      Don’t worry about the rest…those aren’t going to buy from you.

      4. Make sure that you have created an offer that people would feel stupid saying no to. Then master sharing that offer.

      Now what I mean by mastering sharing that offer is to practice stating it out loud over and over and over again until it gets as comfortable as saying “pass the salt”.

      And this is not a onetime deal for practicing. Before you get into conversation where you know you are going to be making your offer, practice saying it over and over so that you are refreshing those neural pathways and energies.
